While responsive Theme Blvd themes work with WPML already, for the most part, we wanted to make a plugin that helped to add additional compatibility in places where we felt our theme fell short.
What does the plugin do?
This plugin honestly doesn’t do a whole lot, but we hope that it will enrich your WPML experience. The plugin serves a few basic purposes.
- Theme Options – The major thing this plugin does is allow for you to save your theme options based on your different WPML-configured languages. This actually opens up things for a lot of interesting possiblities that we discuss here.
- Frontend Integration – WPML already comes with some different ways of incorporating language selection into the frontend of your site. However, our WPML Bridge plugin gives you some additional options that utilize our framework hooks as explained here.
- Breadcrumbs – The plugin comes with a little added bonus to automatically switch out our Theme Blvd breadcrumbs with WPML’s breadcrumbs as described here.
How can I get the plugin?
Our WPML Bridge plugin is a free plugin that you can download from the WordPress plugin repository. — Download Theme Blvd WPML Bridge
You can also install our plugin through your WordPress admin panel by going to Plugins > Add New and searching for “Theme Blvd WPML Bridge”.
Plugin Requirements
In order for this plugin to work properly in full, you need to have WPML installed with your languages setup. Additionally, you need to ensure you’re using one of our compatible WordPress themes.
